Destination Reading courses I & II were awarded the certificate of e-learning quality assurance by KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service) last November 19. KERIS has standardized and inspected the world’s first criterion of e-learning quality assurance on the basis of national standards in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. And it has made efforts in the development of professional and proven ICT industry under the mutual-assistant system with schools.

Prize for excellence in 2008 e-learning quality assurance of the best content awarded December, 2008
The awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and headed by KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service) and KATS (Korean Agency for Technology and Standards) for excellent contents in 2008 e-learning quality assurance was held at KERIS on December 17, 2008. The prize for excellence presented by the president of KATS in the field of school education was awarded to Destination Reading. This was the first ceremony to present awards for finding and developing the number-one Korean e-learning contents in the world.

JoongAng ES received an appreciation plaque for popularizing cyber home learning on the basis of its national operation from the vice-premier of Education and Human Resources Ministry on May 17, 2007. Destination Reading has officially adopted and been interested as a part of cyber home learning now.
KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service)
KERIS is a subsidiary agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and is responsible for the policies and business of the nation’s educational information. And KERIS is promoting educational information-oriented schools for primary and junior high school students: Edunet, Cyber Home Learning-NEIS (National Education Information System), and RISS (Research Information Service System).
Most of all, KERIS is actively promoting e-learning global business on the basis of Korea’s educational know-how. Also, KERIS makes ways of Korea’ future education by promoting various educational information businesses for Korea’s educational renovation.
